Archangel Ancient Tree Archive – our first Epic Tree Planter
Our first Epic Tree Planter partnership of 2025 is with David Milarch, co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive (AATA). By collecting offshoots and regrowing ancient trees, David aims to restore the cornerstones of ecosystems that are at risk of disappearing.
Following a near-death experience in the early 1990s, David has made it his life’s mission to create a ‘living library’ of giant ancient trees and reforest areas worldwide.

Every tree counts
Why do old trees matter? Today, only a small percentage of the coastal redwoods that once covered over 2 million acres of California remain. Propagating and reforesting areas in the Pacific Northwest can reverse some of this decline, helping to build a more sustainable future for us all.
